Memory, Speak

Memory, Speak

"Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it."

-Proverbs 4:23

I woke among savages...

Time unsheathed its blades and eloped with my Fate leaving in its wake an anthology of empty currents and chambers that await occupancy.

Heart's adrift - drowning in a sea of ripples - while memories hold it tethered from evanescence. Words atoned into open-ended wounds: sweet whispers that weather the demons from lurking-about. Hope became an inherent loss - lost in remembrance - tryin' to wrap its arms around past echoes. Voices ached with thirst to cast secrets.

Then...the quiet explosion: Someone Anyone withered and purged the Darkness from its throne - spoke and struck among the clouds a hymn of innocence.

Rendition ensued...YOU found me caught inside a silent prayer...displaced in the fibers of Grace...
