"Give me one more chance
and you'll be satisfied
Give me two more chances
you won't be denied"
-U2's Even Better Than the Real Thing from Achtung Baby
In life, there are two words every man wants to own and portray: power and glory -- you want the eye of the beholder to behold in awe whilst basking in the fortune of the spotlight. Hence, the art of dressing-up, of the attire, of making every piece come into conversation with each other, complimenting one another. Hence, the importance of the newfound-New York-based shoe company Paul Evans, a company whose sole purpose (pun intended) is to help us, men, stand-out (!).
Armed with a simple mission statement - “[I]nvest in style. Invest in quality. But most importantly, invest in yourself.” - founders Ben Earley and Evan Fript, have managed to revolutionize the (mis)conception of the high-end quality shoe. They’ve become, as the Business Insider cleverly coined them, “[T]he Warby Parker of shoes.”; making them a company to be reckoned with. Therefore, I suggest you visit their webpage or maybe read their blog, The Curator (which is filled with goodies!), or just simply, follow them on their Instagram (@paulevansny) or Twitter (@paulevansny) account, for in the end, if you don’t stand-out , then, like Fript told BI: “[W]hat does your outfit say about you? What kind of message are you sending? For us, and our customers, that message is power, intelligence, and decisiveness.” (my italics for emphasis)
In the meantime, behold the power and the glory of the The Brando as they unfurl (even better than the real thing)...
Get noticed...the spotlight is on!
